    Dang vacation and this sickness has squashed any hopes of winning the diet challenge.

    First time doing 1rm on bench since gold’s gym closed down about 3 or 4 years ago.

    20# under pr on the first two lifts really aggrivates me. Very happy with the OHS though. Got out of the bottom with 140 but had to bail out before I stood all the way up.

    Clean- skipped over PR on progression attemped 205 twice and failed, 185 highest lifted today

    Bench- 195 (PR)

    OHS- Still needs lots of work. Attempted 95 several times, but kept falling appart. Did 65 just to have something on the board.

    ohs 95# i know i could go up on this one, except i was rushed for time and needed more rest time in between attempts.

    yeah, well, this wasn’t happening in a hotel gym, so it’s Barry’s hotel MSU WOD to the rescue!!!

    run stairs from the 3rd to 14th floor & back, 3 times…1st round, stop every floor, alternating 10 push ups/10 sit ups. 2nd round, every other floor. 3rd round, every 3rd floor.

    16 steps per floor, 33 floors each way, total. 110 each, push ups & sit ups, total.

    (Much better than a November WOD with OHS, where I got stuck back on the PVC pipe).

    800m x 4 with between 3 and 4 minutes of rest in between each run.

    On the treadmill

    3:00 – 3:00 – 3:00 – 3:00

    Last two hurt at the 6min mile pace. Treadmill’s aren’t very good for pose, but they are great for speed work.

    I found out this afternoon that I’ve had strep throat. That’s why I felt like I was going to die for the past 5 days. I’ve had two shots in the butt the past two days and I feel so much better! I actually felt like doing a workout tonight at 10pm.
    Daniel made one up for me…
    AMRAP in 20 minutes of
    5 burpees
    10 air squats
    I did 17 rounds.
    I can’t wait to get back into the habit of going to crossfit!

    Bench – 105 ran out o time, could have gone up a little
    OHS – 75 ran out of time, could have gone up
