    13:09 as rx’d…this wod was just plain gross. Hoping for sub-10 but DU’s snagged me up.

    11:32 scaled to 50 double unders
    1:33 row and 2:30 on the burpees. The rest of the time was spent doing the double unders one at a time. Double unders need lots of work.

    I did a version of this last night at the hotel.

    Around the hotel parking lot was just under a quarter mile. Double unders are coming along nicely (40+10,5+25+10,30,15+5,10)

    I like this wod. I generally like burpees, but they sucked ass today. My legs are toast from the monday and tuesday wods.

    1:34 on the row, double unders slowed me up big time, and the burpees took alot longer than they should have.

    What’s with the picture of the nice, dust/dirt-free facility? Did y’all move again??

    Despite the dust storm here, we did max rounds in 20 minutes of:
    5 burpees
    10 SDHP, 95#,
    15 double unders

    5 even for me today! (although I did ask the wife to send me some good masks…the dust storms really bite!)

    Slowest on the double unders…by the last round was just doing one at a time.

      Barry, those were the ‘good ol’ days’ of the Matrix…..

      Where socks stayed white after finishing a WOD, and there were showers within walking distance…..=o)

      I like our humble abode(s) that we’ve had in the last few months..It can really weed out the Globo folks, wouldn’t you say?

      The good ole, barefoot, air-conditioned days at the Matrix were definitley nice. I really liked being able to go back to the office and not smell like butt sweat. But… I do like the raw feeling of being in an old beat down warehouse. It’s kinda cool.

    We’re proud to report that the 430 and 530 classes have stepped it up a notch or three, and we will have at least 7 (well, add one morning dude-you know who you are 🙂 ) maybe more, running in the run as well this Saturday morning!!!

    Consider this a challenge to the AM Classes, Ladies class,and Lunch class!!!

    If you do decide to sign up for the run, be sure to wear either your CF Sectionals tee, or a CF HSV tee, so we can represent!!

    sub 6 was kind of what I was going for. 500m row was around 1:49, Burpees were unbroken. Double-unders could have been about 30 seconds faster if I could keep my forearms from burning so much.

    DU’s no means perfect but better than I expected.

    I worked on DU’s for 40 min…finely started to make a little bit of progress. Then did sets of 20 wall balls, close angled push ups.
    Again, just another day to focus entirely on my weak areas. So no real WOD for me, but I feel that I made progress.

    Good job boys @(12:30)Im jealous of your ability to double under so easily.

    Will, I like your tattoo idea.

    Double unders were horrible yet again. Weirdly I got better at them throughout the workout the more tired I became. Burpees were slower than they should have been. Great job to Kevin, Josh, and Russell on this one.

    Don’t know the breakdown of each time.
    I can finally do double-unders without a single jump between each double-under and they got better as I progressed through the work-out (last 60 were about 20 each). Burpees were really slow as evidenced by the time. Could have done sub-15 but Russell was messin’ with my rowing and I got confused with his commands…:)

    Severely irritated Achilles tendon on Saturday’s run so I couldn’t row, do DUs or burpees.

    50 Sumo Deadlift High pulls @ 45lbs
    50 Wallball shots @ 14lbs
    25 Kettlebell swing @ 24kg


    Also worked on muscle-ups at the 7am class

    1:59, slow and easy on the row
    I was able to keep track of my DU numbers pretty well; but then I had 3 (thanks to you all) peeps encouraging me and asking me how many I had left, and it kept making me lose count.

    Double unders finally “clicked” for me! A few days ago I watched Jake do them for a while and mimicked his wrist movement and pace and I am finally able to remove the single jump between the doubles, and link 20+. On this WOD, I was linking 15-20 at a time in the first 100, but the last 50 were 3-5 at a time. Burpees were steady & consistent, almost unbroken. Row was steady paced, at 2:08.
