155 pound Hang power clean, 9 reps
155 pound Push jerk, 6 reps

    As rx’ed with 135lbs. Mistakenly did the first two sets with push press instead of push jerk. Once I fixed this, it got a little better. Push jerk is the weak point due to form. I hear Kevin never put the bar down on his first set. Nice!

    5 rounds 45:xx minutes.

    105 lbs. except final set push jerk dropped to 85. Form is HORRIBLE on push jerk, more of a push press. Russell deemed this a strength training session….for time. Hope it work on building strength ’cause it sure took some time!

    Very disappointing.

    Karen, interesting thought. When to eat after this type of WOD. It became more of a strength WOD for me after the 3rd round. Lots of standing with hands on knees, wondering who the hell is the buttercup evil spirit that has possessed my body.

    Do you eat within an hour to replete the glycogen stores like a typical metcon WOD, or wait a couple hours to reap the benefits to the increased testosterone and GH levels like a strength WOD.

    I waited the couple hours.

    Jimmy is a FREAK with no grip stregnth!

    Russell said he had the first 4 rounds done in 5 minutes but the last round ate him up due to grip.

    Jimmy…you are an animal!

    now…..learn to shake hands like a man!

    Tennis lost 6-3, 6-4 # 1 singles. All mental. I had a chance to go up 3-0 in first set, but gave it away. Then at the end of the set it was on serve 4-5, I was up 40 – love on my serve, but I lost that game, set and match. in 4 straight points. A complete mental breakdown. I hoping to recover my mojo on Helen tomorrow.

    Separate work out: 5x dead lift- 135# and 5x shoulder press- 55#
    10 rounds w/ good form.
    Really excited to be back doing dead lifts again :)!
