sorry to leave everyone hanging on the post yesterday!

  2. Garth says:

15:16, subbed sit-ups for pull-ups since there is no pull-up bar at the hotel here in Tampa.
Probably woke up my neighbor banging against the wall on HSPU.

Scaled HSPU with head to floor, not nose to floor. Could only get the first 10 ntf

  4. Justin says:

    26:54 as rx’d

kipping pull ups and HSPU were not nose or head to floor

  6. LeshaS says:

    SCALED

3 kipping pull-ups (attempts) each round after 21 (round 21 was all kipping) with remainder ring-rows

HSPU were scaled with pike-position on box PU’s (and a few from the knees thrown in at the end)

Daniel and I both missed the lunch class today because we were working with the excavators. By the way, excavation on the new Crossfit gym officially started this morning!

  8. Daniel says:

Nose to floor is ridiculous. It flies in the face of good form. Pulling your head back like that to touch your nose will throw your head out of alignment!

    Yesterday’s WOD
    225,235,255,275,295

30:44 with strict pullups and head to abb mat hand stand pushups

  10. Will Blankenship says:

This was tough. My strength for hspu’s isn’t good… not sure if it’s form or what, but I’m really weak on these.

Strict pullups / Head to abmat hspu’s:

    21, 18, 15, 12, 9 + 2hspu’s

STRANDED AT HOME WITH SICK KID!!! HSPU’S, THAT MANY TIMES??? NOT TOO SORRY THAT I COULDN’T MAKE IT. LINKED 5 PULL UPS YESTERDAY!!!!!
    MADE ME HAPPY.

  12. Karen says:

Couldn’t make it to the gym today so did this one at home with the pullup bar on the doorframe. Let’s just say I did it for completion because it took me FOREVER! My strict pullups are one at a time for the most part and so are the HSPU. HSPU were head to floor. Pullups were as close to chest to bar as possible with the door pullup bar.

HSPU were head to floor, great job Justin and everyone else who did this nose to floor.

  14. Kerri says:

    30 min cutoff (I think): Scaled: Finished 4 rounds…(21,18,15,12)
KPU’s, and HPUs were going down just as far as I could go, and get back up each time….

  15. Russ says:

    5 rds (21,18,15,12,9 x,x,)-35 min cut off.
    started kipping on 2nd rd.
Handstand hold – pushup done with box assist. HSPUs need more work/effort.

thought after tracking through the woods all afternoon and setting up two new deer stands and a ground blind I would knock this out when I got home………hmmmmmmm…21 pullups then……..ice cream! I suck. Can’t wait to get back to the 6 AM class.

    “the Grinch”
    5 rounds for time:
    5 muscle ups
    10 Power Cleans 155#
    15 DU’s

    14:46
-first three rounds of DU’s were just brutal. 1’s and 2’s. Finally got fatigued or something and round 4 and 5 of the DU’s were linked. I guess there is something to just relaxing and not trying to whip the rope around.

Programming by Luan for this one. It is a good one. I recommend.

  19. Katie says:

Buzzer rang during the 9’s on HSPU’s

Did strict for all of 21’s and most 18’s then switched to strict until failure, then kipping for 15’s, 12’s and 9’s.
