Bar was way more than 1 foot out of reach, so I used a box to reach the bar and give myself a little push. Did my best to keep most of the pull-up under my own power, so my convoluted WOD was 20:54.
I decided to measure a foot out of my reach on the rope in the gym to do this one, that added a whole new level of suck to this workout that I obviously was not prepared for
I’m not tall enough to jump and reach the bar, so I had to do the scaled workout, but honestly–after watching the folks who did it, I really don’t think I’d have been able to do 100!! You girls rocked! 10 rounds of 10 burpees/10 ring rows = 100
19:11 as rx’ed with kpus. I slowly started feeling the skin on my hands, tug, pinch, tear, and finally rip. So, after #57, I was slightly distracted by the 4 new places on my hands. This means the burpee pull-ups def weren’t jumping pull-ups (but they never were), and I was doing the best to get my chin up to the bar, but each and every one certainly wasn’t.

I think, if Katy and I could’ve done what we talked about (I gave her my lungs for better, asthma free breathing; she gave me her gloves to helps with my ripped hands), we would’ve TOTALLY had a PR WOD!!!
I thought I was going to die… these type WOD’s really make my asthma flare up, then I get panicky when I feel like I can’t breathe, which makes it worse. Kerri, I completely agree we’d have totally rocked it! ๐

Too much time off has probably degraded my strength and speed a bit. However, without the zone diet, my time would have been a lot worse.
