    The Anthony Bourdain piece reminds me of a lot of the discussions that are taking place within the legal industry, and higher education in general, about whether the expense of college and grad school is worthwhile for the grim employment options faced by graduates.

      Know what you mean. Elbows were killing me during the 135# Thruster in the CF Football WOD last night, had to drop the weight to figure out I was dropping my elbows and jamming them into my knees in the bottom of the squat. Form is your friend.

    Having never done a max effort 500m row, I had no idea what to expect, but should have known pain was in line. Not real happy with how much I slowed after the first 500, but for my first time I’ll take it. Shoot to be more consistent next time.

      Holy smokes, Stricky!! That’s awesome! See – the day you were doing thrusters and were were talking about how it sucked cause you have SO much ground to cover from squat to stand (cause you’re so freaking tall)… here’s something where I’m betting your height is a HUGE asset! Just AWESOME times – way to go!

    -going to do this one again on Monday with the rest of the kids. I think 7+ is definitely an achievable goal.

    Damper setting on 6.5-7

    No PRs, but happy with the consistency of my times on the last 3.
    Day 4 on, and thinking maybe the sinus/allergy wave of madness may have affected me a little.
