    Regarding the article, George Lakoff is a schmuck. So, according to him if you don’t believe global warming is real you are a fear mongering, science debunking conservative who beats his kids. Yet if you do believe in global warming (despite the actual scientific facts) you were raised in an “ideal” liberal family and are therefore a responsible, empathetic, nurturing scientific fact finding liberal. And I love this part – “Lakoff, however, said that ‘99.999 percent of the science is final’ on global warming and, in fact, the term “climate change” should be changed to “climate crisis” to more accurately describe the phenomenon.’

    Basically CR recess for me today.
    Worked on the jerk….specifically pushing myself under the bar instead of pushing the bar away from me.

    Powercleans 135 – 255 and jerks. Finally was getting more comfortable with dropping lower….but still needs A LOT of work.

    Stong Work by Russell today that KILLED the DL / DU WOD in 3:11. Karen also set the pace for the 10-1 triplet in 12:something.

    125-105-145-85-155(F 2x)-65-145(frekin F again)-125….I felt weak today. Yesterdays KILLER headache and the many Med’s I took for it could be the issue. Anyhow my PR is 145. So I will move on and get 155 next time.:)
    Jmp rope intervals afterwards. Jeff W. I need to watch you do DU’s again…I lost my rythem.

    Little nervous about the height of box jumps so I could make better time with those next time, and I needed to run between each station.

    Worked on Muscle ups afterward (Thank you, Russell, for taking time to work with me on it!). Arms kept going too wide and not enough hip opening. Like the inverted kipping but have a mental block for the catch. I’ll keep on trying!
