1LT Tyler E. Parten, 24, of Arkansas, died Sept. 10 in Konar province, Afghanistan, of wounds sustained when insurgents attacked his unit using rocket-propelled grenades and small arms fire. He was assigned to the 3rd Squadron, 61st Cavalry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Carson, Colorado.
Powerlifting:
A1. Shoulder Press 5 x 4-5 reps @21×1; Rest 3:00
A2. Deadlift 5 x 4-5 reps @11×1; Rest 3:00
B1. Kettlebell bottoms up 3 x 10-12 reps @20×0; Rest 1:00
B2. Barbell Good mornings 3 x 8-10 reps @2121; Rest 1:00

4 sets max reps Bench press at 225lbs = 3 reps
4 sets max reps Bodyweight Bench Press = 185lbs = 8 reps

Very much a HERO WOD
Scaled MU to 3 the first two rounds, 2 the 3-4 rounds, and then ran out of MU. 10 MU total, but was working on a different technique for my kip. SDHP weight rx’d. Thanks Jake for the tips and it is always fun having Dennis drop in!
TYLER scaled: 22:51. I got 1 muscle up first attempt:) then i did bands on a rack to focus on technique.
afterwards, BENCH PRESS
built up to a two rep max in 10 min.= 135#
4 sets max reps bodyweight(75%)= 110#=8/6/8/8.
arms are shot.
