Last time I did Cleans during a wod was Elizabeth on 11/18/09 and I had to scale to 115. And not sure how this correlates but my Front Squat 3 rep PR in April was 165, so maybe I should have attempted 155 or 160? Form is getting better though, but still need to work on opening hips…they were only “slightly muted” per Jake.
I started on the squats, since we all went at once & there were waaaay too many of us, but didn’t have to wait as much as I expected. The big news for me is that it was as Rx! All pullups were real! (ok, some took a double kip, but still got up!) Woohoo!

Had 105# written in my journal, so thought I had 7 sets, but only did 6 sets…oh well, pleased with the new PRs.
In 5th round, got under bar on 2nd lift but fell backwards with it. Need to work technique more. Pulling with arms a lot.
By the way, if you are planning on going to Faction Games and haven’t registered yet, today is the last day for $65 registration. Tomorrow the price goes up to $85 and July 21st it goes to $100.

Worked out with Crossfit Virginia Beach today. They don’t follow main site sonit was 6x50m with about 60sec break between each round.
I had the second fastest time in their gym, 5.96. My slowest time was 7.02 and it was also my last sprint.
Crossfit vb was a nice box though. Good people and a good owner and a nice pullup cage design.
