Goats. All goats. I’m only going because it looks like no fun at all. I will look at these strong pictures above for inspiration. Nice work, guys.

Excellent attitude and mindset. I am right there with you on Wallballs. We must learn to embrace them. You are correct those strong athletes in the pictures can help all of us get through this.

  3. Eric says:

    A. 275 reps Single unders

As bad as it was the first time.

  4. Joe L says:

    A. PR on linked Muscle ups, linked 3 in a row, prior record was 2.

    B. 95 rx’d (PR). 30 rx’d reps better than the open last year. WBS = Joe’s Mortal Enemy! I missed far less than last time but this is still a weakness of mine. 🙁

Thanks Aaron and my beautiful wife for the tips on the WBS!

    • Felicia W(BS) says:

      A. um…I did 30 seconds of singles unbroken!

      B. 125 (RX’d) – it would have been 130 but there was 5 “no reps” – much better than I imagined. I think I could have gotten 150 if “What Does the Fox Say?” was on repeat.

Now, granted being ‘freakishly tall’ my standing reach is nearly 9′, but my femur is as long as your legs which means I have to squat that much further. So, Joe…being short does have it’s advantages. But, my fave was being told “you are going to be in a lot of pain tomorrow!” I will take burpees and WBS any day over toes to bar (or in my case, knees to belly button!) Everyone says burpees suck, but no, burpees are one of the least sucky things!!

  5. AP says:

    PR
    Rx’d 253 reps

Considering this wod has come up in the previous 2 Opens I really hope it comes up this year because I have a date with those rings for 15+ MU’s.

Great job 0600 and 0700. Since a lot of you have never done “Karen”, this was 2 for 1. 🙂

    Sub-3 Minutes with Chris Spealler

The question at 2:15 and his response is so right on, could not agree more.

Mabybe I should finish my thought and clarify what I meant. I don’t disagree with competing, adding more volume, 2-a-days, etc. What I heard in the clip was simple: Keep it in perspective. Don’t get caught up with the leaderboard, whiteboard or who is doing what on the side. (Because I know I’ve been guilty of this in the past.) Be safe, be smart, push yourself, encourage those around you and most importantly, enjoy yourself!

  7. George C says:

    193 Rx’d.

  8. Clair Lee says:

173 Rx’d. Great morning!! Happy Friday CFHSV!

  9. Kodi says:

    241 Rx’d

ENORMOUS PR – Last year my score was 93 and I was no-repped 43 times.

  10. Sonya Wintzell says:

Had to improvise at home AGAIN!
    100 bar only Thrusters
    180 Single Unders
    25 band assisted Ring Dips
So Rx was a big ZERO reps! But I still worked up a sweat. Hope to be back to normal box hours next week.

  11. Erin Little says:

    162 rx. And PR!

  12. Justin says:

    208 rx’d
