The Tabata interval is 20 seconds of work followed by 10 seconds of rest for 8 intervals or 4min.
*This is 28 minutes worth of Tabata training and 12min rest for a total of 40min.

Kent Mad Dog Maddox! Believe it or not CFHSV has a few members who have completed a full Iron Man. Kent is one of them. Never forget him sending me the pic when he crossed that finish line. Wow! Thank you all for the kind words! Its definitely been a heck of a journey from when I first started trying to get healthier a few years ago. Big thanks to CFHSV for the help and motivation along the way. It’s really awesome that no matter how long it’s been since I’ve been able to make it into the gym, I’m always greeted with friendly faces. Dr. Nate told us that if we finished the workout we would have the Tabata Virus Vaccination. He did mention that we might have some side effects for 24-48 hours.
They included muscle soreness, joint pain, lower back tightness, overall fatigue, heartburn, nausea, indigestion, upset stomach and diarrhea. Hmm the first part of his diagnosis is correct, that last part may be from a commercial I saw.
