WOD For Warriors

“Armistice” A Veteran’s Day Salute

Round 1: 9 minute AMRAP

100m sprint – 11 sit-ups – 11 air squats

100m sprint – 22 sit-ups – 22 air squats

100m sprint – 33 sit-ups – 33 air squats

*add 11 reps to the sit-ups and air squats for each additional round

2 minute rest and reflection, then

Round 2: 9 minute AMRAP

100m sprint – 11 push-ups – 11 box jumps 24″/20″

100m sprint – 22 push-ups – 22 box jumps 24″/20″

100m sprint – 33 push-ups – 33 box jumps 24″/20″

*add 11 reps to the push-ups and the box jumps for each additional round


On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918, an armistice, or temporary cessation of hostilities, was declared between the Allied nations and Germany in the First World War. This Armistice Day was later re-named to Veterans Day.¬†¬†This November, please join us in connecting America’s communities to our nation’s Veterans, forged by the bonds that form in shared hardness and accomplishment – through our own Armistice.

    Hey everyone, PlayCare at The Matrix is regular hours today. 8:00am-11:30am and 3:30pm-7:30pm.
    Bronze members may utilize childcare for $5/child if you need to today since school is out. Just stop at the Matrix front desk. Thanks!
