1LT Tyler E. Parten, 24, of Arkansas, died Sept. 10 in Konar province, Afghanistan, of wounds sustained when insurgents attacked his unit using rocket-propelled grenades and small arms fire. He was assigned to the 3rd Squadron, 61st Cavalry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Carson, Colorado.

    Yesterday’s WOD this morning- ran the sprints with my puppy in the back yard –

    Used 35lbs for everything – could’ve done more for sure & the rows were the hardest for me!

      Great work Alli! I bet your dog is the best running partner! I know yesterday’s wod was super tough no matter what weight you used! Great job!!

    Hah, those weights are gonna leave a mark!
    AM: 30min run and then Death by Slam Ball, made it thru 13min with 40# ball
    PM: completed the 3x 400m. On the metcon I got to 30 sit-ups by 20min, finished in 23:05. 75# for all, sub’ed BB rows for pull-ups and sit-ups for T2B.
