Good Lord above, these chippers are going to be the death of me.
Happy belated birthday Tracy! I wish we could have made it to the special WOD, I’m sure it was awesome! We are off to visit Leadville tomorrow, where David’s big 100 mile mountain bike race is on Saturday. He said over dinner “I miss Crossfit.” I told him I found a box nearby we could check it out. Don’t think he wants to be sore before Sat. though. Looking forward to getting back home and back into the gym myself. I’m actually trying to figure out a WOD I could do here with no equipment tomorrow. I knew I should of brought a jump rope!
Run 5k, but every 5 min. do 50 push ups and 50 squats.
Scale as appropriate.
If you have a pull up bar…
Deck of Cards
Take a deck of cards, shuffle. Face cards are 10, Aces are 11, numbered cards as
valued. Flip each card and perform the movement and the number of reps specified.
Cycle whole deck.
Hearts pushups
Diamonds pullups
Spades situps
Clubs squats
Jokers Run 1 mile, or some distance of your choice.
Awesome! That should totally be a rest day WOD!
Had a great time in the powerlifting class last night lifting with James S and Ben J. I got to watch both of them rack up substantial PRs, and James breezed past the 200 lb mark making it look easy. I managed to catch a little of the fever and got over BW for the first time myself. Good stuff. After attending the Wednesday session for just three weeks the results are measureable.

It always makes me a little sad when these death-by-chipper WODs come up on my rest day…not!!
Awesome picture, Meghan!!
18:21 rx’ed
Only 6 MINUTES slower than the winning Masters times. They rocked!
Interesting how you race with the Champion that finished first and I just try beat the person that finished last.
scaled 27:18
0600 class rocked it this morning! The masters chipper was intense…maybe it gets easier as you get older..?
Wow, Meghan! Hot mama!
Thanks, Carson! I hate that I missed this one this morning:) Looks like fun!
Gracious, that was an intense workout this morning! Way to go 7:00 a.m.!
26:04, Scaled.
Didn’t finish in the 25 minute cut-off, but I did finish!
Scaled the T2B to the toes to ceiling floor exercise that Tracey recommended. Those are actually harder than they look!
Scaled the Power Clean to 75#. I accidentally did the first seven as Hang Power Cleans, but the other 33 were Power Cleans. 🙂
I almost scaled the burpee reps because of a knee issue, but I sucked it up and did all 50. Yay me. 🙂
Great work from 0600 this morning!
22:59, scaled the cleans to 115#. How is it that I could not Rx’ed a workout for Masters age?! 😉
24:20 rx’d
That was awful
I was wondering who was wrapped in the bondage! Great pic Meghan! Scaled abmat HSPU, 19:57. Awesome WOD
being a new 40 year old…I wanted to see where I stack up in the 45-50 category. So, 15:33 was close to last! Ha I’ve got to improve in the next 5 years. Great wod!
Rx’d 16:40, which would have been 4th from last of the CFG5 45-50 Masters Men. But I was able to clip 3 min off my time from last week. Which I think was solely due to WOD’ing with a group, racing with Josh (the Burpee machine visiting from D.C.) and having a coach provide encouragement.
And thanks to whoever cleaned up my bar and bumper plates.
Got to chit-chatting and didn’t realize the next class had arrived.
Your Awesome.
Great job again today. Nice meeting everyone this week. See you guys in Sept.
18:26 rx’d… really hard WOD, but really great group at 4:30. Everyone was no doubt, All In.
