For Time:
1 power snatch 95/65 (55 and over 75/55)
2 thrusters 95/65 (55 and over 75/55)
3 sumo deadlift high pull 95/65 (55 and over 75/55)
4 barbell push-ups
5 KBS 24kg/16kg (55 and over 20kg/12kg)
6 box jumps 24″/20″ (55 and over step ups okay)
7 pull-ups
8 toes to bar
9 WBS 20/14 10′ (55 and over 20/10 9′)
10 deadlift 95/65 (55 and over 75/55)
11 hang power clean 95/65 (55 and over 75/55)
12 barbell burpees
**move through the workout using the same format as the song: complete 1 power snatch, then 2 thrusters and 1 power snatch, then 3 SDHP and 2 thrusters and 1 power snatch…**

29:39 Rx’ed. Every year I start out thinking “I am just killing this thing”, but forget how fast the reps stack up in round 8-9-10-11 before the life-sucking burpees come at the end. I heard another CFHSV veteran realize “if I keep working fast I just get rewarded with doing burpees at the end!”
Got to partner with BillG, who was just killing it! Dude barely stopped the whole way, took the WOD and showed who’s boss.

Much much respect and a Merry Christmas Eve to all that took on this WOD and placed health and fitness at the top of their priority during the Holiday Season.
This WOD has become a big time Christmas tradition and a benchmark for me. I knew this year was going to be rough as a lot of the moves have the potential to be Kryptonite to my shoulder as I build it back up. Wasn’t sure I would get thru it but had a go at it.
WOD RXd w/85# barbell and 55# KB and all unbroken = 28:57
By far not my best time, but I will take it. A little shoulder soreness, but tomorrow will be the real test.
