500m run

WOD:

A. Split Jerk 7 x 1

B. 3 rounds (not for time)

20 hip extensions

50 butterfly abmat sit ups

    Moving WOD today: lots of squatting and lifting heavy boxes!

    I can definitely tell I’ve gotten a lot stronger since the last time we moved. Thanks to Crosstfit Huntsville and all the great coaches! 🙂

    Split Jerk 160# (PR) LOTS of PR’s on the board today….
    Now, time to connect the two (clean+jerk), and get a new C&J PR!

    95(3)-135(3)-185(3)-205-205-205-225-225-225X-225
    First time using the jerk boxes, they are awesome. But, there is a learning curve. If you miss the lift… dump it fast. There is no room to move laterally and save a bad lift like when your lifting out of a squat rack. Almost dumped 225# across one of the boxes, which would have been a colossal wreck, bent the bar and result in a -50 cool point deduction.

    YO! I counted the board today before i left and we had 42 out of 54 athletes get PR’s on their Split Jerk today!
