Scaled to 15 dips per round, 14:37.

Russell: thanks for framing my receding hairline and bald spot with that photo! 😉

Good work to the 0600 crew this morning, that looked brutal and you all pushed through and gave it everything you had.

I did a scaled version of the chipper we’ve got for regionals.
15 cal row, 20 burpees, 20 GTOH with 45lb DB’s, 20 TTB, 100′ walking lunge with 45lb plate overhead, and 100′ sprint – The GTOH is a suck fest, everything else wasn’t too bad.

OMG. Was just perusing main site and noticed that posted on yesterdays WOD, the women’s weight/time to beat listed Kristan Clever with a one rep snatch on that WOD of 1015#.

I read it and thought, “Surely that’s a misprint,” but then was looking at the other girls’ weights who were behind her and, umm, nope – it’s gotta be right.

Holy. Moly. Gulp. That girl is INSANE!!

p.s. I am always looking at funny CF shirts and this reminded me that a while back, I ran across one that said, “Kristan Clever Knows My Name.” Made me giggle.

    • Kerri says:

I think that’s a total tally of ALL snatch #’s lifted during the WOD….At least I hope so. Otherwise, she REALLY is superhuman!!! Love the shirt quote!

Team movement standards have been released. It looks like each athlete is only allowed to compete in one workout per day, meaning all 6 athletes have to workout each day. That kind of throws a wrench in our plans for Justin on the Thrusters.

Our work servers are down, so I can’t reply to that thread. Lol, Kerri–that makes WAY more sense. That’s gotta be it. I was seriously sitting here, scratching my head, thinking, “It just can’t be… How on earth? What is the deal?” I’m sure you can get a funny picture of me sitting in a total state of awe, shock and confusion. Even still… Wow!! 😉

Did first round RX….then had to scale to 15 dips. 23:35

My shoulders aren’t cooperating with anything my brain is asking them to do. Ouch.

    11:30 class was motivating….good group.

  8. David McMillion says:

11:04 Rx’ed reps, dips in between two chairs. Late at work so just did WOD in the garage.

AHH MAN just realized it was 6 rounds not 5. That’s what I get for doing it at home. Boo.

    5/3/1 Press

    Then “Wilmot”

Rx’d reps w/ bar dips. Someone lost the rings at the NASA Gym, so I had to use the old parallel bars.

On a different note, most of you have seen the schedule for this weekend while our individual and team athletes (who, by the way, are going to chew up the competition like they were 8 year olds with a new pack of Big League Chew!!) are in Jacksonville for the CF Games Regionals.

I want everyone to know that I’m very amped to have the opportunity to coach you, and look forward to working with those of you that I’ve known for a long time and those of you that I may have only met in passing so far. If you have any questions, or feedback for me before or after class please don’t hesitate to say something. It’s only going to make me a better coach!

This ole cowboy might have a bit of a hitch in his giddy-up tomorrow. I hit the cutoff but don’t think I’ve ever come within a 100 or even 150 of the 274 squats I did today. Slowly getting there. But the real reason I replied was to say, “Good luck!” to everyone competing in the Regionals. Great things happen where opportunity and preparation collide.
